Carolyn Wiebe

Children & Families Assistant

Born and raised in Montana, I met my Saskatchewan born husband in New Zealand, and together we moved to BC in 2006 to start a family. We have been a part of our SBC church family since then and have had the opportunity to be involved in a number of areas over the past several years.

This church is truly home to us and I am extremely blessed to work on the Children and Families team. I believe strongly in the importance of building relationships with children as we learn together to know the God we serve and am privileged to assist with Sunday morning children’s service as well as our Sparks girls club. As a mother of very young children, there is no better or more supportive job I could ever dream of. How many jobs can you haul your little ones along and have them welcomed with hugs, filled up with goldfish crackers, and entertained by coworkers?

My days are filled front to back with all things mothering as I parent the four little ones entrusted to me; this is the season of fingerprints, dance parties, baby hugs, and the Miracle of the Multiplying Toys. In my spare time that I don’t have I am an avid DIY’er and crafter and in the summer you can find me and the family enjoying one of the many lovely beaches Summerland has to offer.
