I cannot think of a more exciting place to be then SBC. As the Church on the Hill we have been here for 104 years and yet we continue to reach others, go deeper and take risks as we follow Jesus together. We long to see families of faith established, relationships healed, leaders develop into their God given roles and people to experience a transformational encounter with Jesus Christ! We are not content with the status quo and are hungry to see yet more being accomplished in God’s Kingdom. We are blessed with a great staff team of highly dedicated leaders and believe that the best is yet to come. For all of these reasons and many others this is an exciting place to be!
My specific role in SBC is to lead the church as we follow Jesus. I strive to communicate God’s word with simple clarity, lead the staff team and ministry leaders, ensure that we faithfully and effectively respond to our God given opportunities and oversee the health of our church family. Outside of church life I am an avid outdoorsman, enthusiastic golfer and hiker and I’m richly blessed in being a husband and father.
Summerland is wonderful place to live and SBC is a great church to call home. If you live in the South Okanagan please visit us. We are closer than you think.
