Matthew Dykstra (“Mister Matt”) is the Children and Families Director at Summerland Baptist Church. Matthew is the husband of his beloved Angella and the Daddy to their three kids Graham, Nathan and Emily. Matt loves the outdoors, ATV-ing with his kids, shooting hoops and carpentry. He has served in the Children and Families department for the past five years and his ministry areas have included teaching Sunday School, co-leading the Spudz Boys Club and running a basketball ministry. Matthew has a deep passion to see our children know the love of Christ and has strong desire to see parents become the spiritual leaders in their home. As a parent, Matthew is excited to journey with other parents as they follow our Saviour together.
