Mikel has been involved in full-time youth ministry for the last seven years, most recently on Vancouver Island. Mikel also brings with him a diverse background of over 16 years of short-term mission work. He is passionate about walking with youth as they discover who they are in Christ, living as one of the Father’s beloved, and responding to Christ’s call to build the Kingdom of God. He is married to his High School sweetheart Sarah, and they have two children. They are all very excited about being in Summerland. As the Youth Pastor, Mikel oversees the Middle School and High School ministries.
