I love my SBC family and have watched it grow and change since I was very young. It thrills me that we have such a rich history of people who long to use their God given gifts to serve others as Jesus did. It is an honor to work alongside an enthusiastic staff who desire to follow God’s will, and who are passionate about what they do.

I have been involved with Tumble Time and the Playschool since 2000 and more recently Sparks Girls Club. I feel honored to get to know parents and their children in the wonderful community of Summerland, and to build relationships with them. My passion is to teach preschoolers, to invest in their little lives and be a part of their world. My desire is for them to know how much God loves them, that He made them and that they are so special and unlike anyone else!

I feel blessed to have a wonderful husband whom I married in 1993. Together we are raising 3 beautiful children. Being a mom has helped me better understand God’s unconditional love. It has made me see my need to have mentors and a church family to help equip and encourage our journey of parenthood. I would love to have God use me to be able to provide those experiences for others.

Outside of the best job in the world, I love to hang out with my family, not cook dinners and to take my bike for a sweet ride in the bush!
